Death of demon Kansa by Lord Krishna
Founded in 1924 the mandal has Rajesh Sonawane as its president. The mandal has displayed a scene depicting the death of demon Kansa by Lord Krishna. Six idols have been used in the scene with that of Kansa being 14 feet tall. The mandal has extended help to the flood-affected in Konkan region and has been conducting various activities for social upliftment. |

From last 53 years mandal is celebrating Ganeshotsav, Ganesh Jayanti, and on national occasions
always care is taken that citizens do not get disturbed because of noise pollution. From last
5 years the celebration of the festival is without donation but with self contribution of the members.
