No Decoration – due to Floods
With Mangesh Khedekar as its president the mandal has avoided putting up a display owing to the heavy rainfall. It has instead diverted its funds towards helping the flood-affected people of the state. The celebration of the Ganesh festival this year is the simplest possible in contrast of the mandal’s tradition of displaying a huge decoration every year. |
