Tandav Nritya of Lord Shiva
Founded 1964, the mandal has put up a display depicting Lord Shiva involved in the Tandav Nritya. The tall idol of Lord Shiva has been shown dancing atop a hill while various of his disciples watch him doing so. Raju Dangi has conceived the display with Raja Mandhre as the president. The mandal has retained a tradition of huge innovative displays. The mandal has helped flood-affected people in Pune district during the recent floods. |
