Jagran-Gondhal
Digvijay Mandal in Ganesh Peth has used 16 idols to put up a display depicting the tradition ritual called Jagran-gondhal in a colourful manner. The idols can be seen dancing to the tune of traditional folk music of Maharashtra. President Sameer Karpe conceived the scene. Founded in 1960 the mandal undertakes various social and cultural activities. This year they have also donated an amount for flood relief.
