Ganesh in the form of Lord Shiva
The mandal that dates back to 1898 has Mohan Ghodke at its president and is known for not spending on decorations. It instead has an uncommon Ganesh idol that depicts the lord in the form of Shiva. The mandal celebrates the festival in simple manner and concentrates on organization of events and activities of social awareness besides religious events like Dutta Jayanti and Shiv Jayanti. |
