Death of Meghnath alias Indrajeet
Founded in 1944 the mandal has put up a display depicting the death of Meghnad alias Indrajeet. The story has been recreated with the help of 12 idols. The story is narrated to the public through a live commentary. The mandal, led by Narayan Sutar the mandal has got the idols made from Gorakhnath Kumbhar of Ichalkaranji. The tallest of the idols is that of Hanuman standing 12 feet tall.
