Founded in 1952 the mandal is led by Ravindar Pawar. The mandal is know for its attractive display but has diverted the funds towards flood relief this year. The mandal celebrates all national festivals and cultural events throughout the year. |

At starting period was celebrated Ganeshsotav near Dhobi Talim lane,but it was so small and therfore mandal started it in Raviwar Peth on large space. Mandal shows every year a movable dekhavas based on historical and religious subjects.
