No Decoration – due to Floods
Known for its celebrations and attractive displays the mandal has decided to help the flood affected instead of putting up a display. The mandal has donated through the Sakal Relief Fund for the flood-affected areas of Maharashtra. The idol of Ganesh on display is more than a century old. Founded in 1892 the mandal has Yuvraj Nimbalkar as the president. It was one of the first mandals in public celebration of the festival. |

Mandal is established in year 1892 and the idol of lord Ganesha has completed 107 years.
The idol has been created by late Bhau Rangari and is considered to be one of the oldest idols
of India. Mandal has successfully presented different religious, social and mythological scenes,
to show their awareness towards society.
Similarly, earthquake victims rehabilitation,
free book distribution, honor of students who showed outstanding skills in SSC.
Plantation and such programs are under taken by Mandal.
