Vishwamitra and Menaka
Led by Kishor Dalvi the mandal is entering its 90th year. The display is based on the story of saint Vishwamitra. The scene shows how gods make an effort towards disturbing the meditation of Vishwamitra with the help of the fairy called Menaka. The mandal celebrates all national festivals along with Dahi-handi as their biggest celebration. |
