Gadh aala pan Sinha Gela
Founded in 1930, the mandal has a historic display from the lives of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Six idols on display depict the scene when Shivaji’s warrior Tanaji conquered the fort of Kondhana but lost his life. The forts was names Sinhagad after that. The display has a replica of the fort that is about 35 feet high. The mandal has donated for the flood affected in Konkan region. Rajesh Khedkar has made the idol for the attractive display. |
