Palace of Lights
The mandal shares its birthday with India’s independence. This year for the Ganesh festival the mandal has constructed the replica of an imaginary palace lit up with 15000 bulbs and 10 halogen lights. The five feet high Ganesh idol has silver ornaments and attracts the attention of a large number of devotees. President Tukaram Vairat leads the mandal. |
