With just two decades of its foundation the mandal has gained popularity for its innovative display depicting folk Indian culture. With 14 idols the mandal has put up a display depicting the traditional ritual of women worshipping the banyan tree. The women in the scene are seen moving around the tree while the musician plays music and the Brahmin chants devotional hymns. With Sudam Tangde as president the mandal was founded in 1984 the mandal has idols created by Narendra Pandhale.
