Khandoba and Mhalsa
Taking inspiration from the famous Maharashtrian temple at Jejuri near Saswad about 50-60 kilometres away from the city, the display has idols depicting scenes from the lives of Khandoba and Mhalsa, killing a demon. The attractive idols are accompanied with a commentary explaining the display. The entire display has been put on a 700 square feet stage erected on a platform and devotees have to climb a flight of stairs to see the display. |
